Faculty looking for ways to make teaching more creative and collaborative, as well as become more proficient in the use of digital media, are encouraged to check out the  free professional development offerings by the Adobe Education Exchange.  The Adobe Education Exchange is a free online community for educators,  providing instructional resources, professional development, and opportunities for peer-to-peer collaboration that enhance your teaching and support creativity in education.

To become a member of the Adobe Education Exchange and participate in its professional development offerings, you must create a free Adobe account.  Once this is done,  click on the links below to see the  session’s  “Register” button.

  • Digital Creativity in the Classroom Course– Begins October 6, 2013
    In this  five-week online class , you will develop digital media skills  using Adobe tools and creative teaching techniques.  You will  discover how to control digital images, create an artistic digital collage, piece together simple animations, produce short digital videos, and publish work on a website.
  • Education Webinar Series
    Discover how fellow teachers have engaged their students and nurtured creativity. This weekly session will feature a guided tour of the Adobe Education Exchange and the most innovative lesson plans, activities, and resources. Webinar topics include: Visual Literacy, eLearning,  Image Editing, and more.
