As recommended by the Academic Technology Core Committee, MATC will be performing maintenance on Blackboard from January 2nd through the 4th. At this time, we will be providing a few security and maintenance updates to our current version of Blackboard 9.1 as we move from Service Pack 7 to Service Pack 8. Although there will be a few changes in the look of the Blackboard interface and some much needed work-flow enhancements; the core functionality within your courses will remain the same (i.e. posting a syllabus, assignment, test, etc.).
To learn more about the key enhancements that will be implemented when the maintenance update is complete, please see these documents:

- Navigation and Tasks Overview
In preparation for the update, Blackboard workshops will be offered for faculty during the months of November and December 2012 at the Milwaukee, Mequon, West Allis and Oak Creek campuses. During these sessions faculty will have the opportunity to access their courses on a Blackboard test server running the Service Pack 8 update.
