On Thursday October 18th at 5:00 PM (CST), Blackboard will undergo routine maintenance to update security and correct known issues impacting teaching and learning online. The update process will take approximately 24 hours to complete with no expected downtime.
We will be using the same major version of Blackboard as we do currently, updating from Blackboard 9.1 version 3400.0.3 to 3400.0.4. No major changes to Blackboard’s navigation, icons, or tools will occur, but the following new features will become available.
|Cloud Storage Integration||Instructors and students can now upload files from Cloud Storage providers Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive, and Box. Please note: A copy of a selected file is uploaded directly to the course. Changes made to the file after submission are not reflected in Blackboard. This process is different than sharing a link to the file for collaborative editing or commenting.|
|Grading in Blackboard Instructor App||This release provides support for grading assignments in the Blackboard Instructor app on mobile devices.|
