ShowMe is a free interactive whiteboard app designed for instructors or students to record short video lessons from an iPad. There are no limitations on the length or quantity of recordings! Featuring simple recording controls, the app allows you to easily record yourself drawing and narrating in real time. The app also allows you to import pictures from the iPad’s photo gallery to the whiteboard.  When you publish a ShowMe video, you automatically receive an e-mail containing the video’s URL, which can be shared with students using any computerized device.

Free  for Apple and Android mobile devices, the EasyBib app makes building a bibliography as easy as scanning a book bar code or using a search tool to find a book by title.  With the EasyBib app, you can create MLA, APA, and Chicago style citations. Citations can be sent as e-mail or exported to the EasyBib bibliography management Website.

Grafio Lite is a free app for making flow charts, mind maps, sketches, and more on an iPad or iPhone.   By drawing and using gestures on the device’s touchscreen, you can create and arrange customizable elements and text on a canvas.  With the free app, completed diagrams can be sent to one’s e-mail as images or sent to a Dropbox account.  However, buying the full version of Grafio for $8.99 gives you more options, such as publishing your charts as PDF documents .
