Throughout the month of August, the U.S. Department of Education’s Connected Educators initiative will be providing opportunities for educators to participate in free webinars, forums, and other activities to learn about using technologies and strategies that enhance your teaching skills and improve student engagement in learning. More than 50 professional education organizations, communities, and companies have agreed to provide activities covering a wide variety of topics that are perfect for instructors and administrators. The activities also give instructors a chance to connect with other instructors to exchange ideas, collaborate, and further develop one’s personal learning network. For more information about the Connected Educator’s initiate and Connected Educators month, we recommend visiting their official website.
