Collaborate Ultra Recording Maintenance Coming in January 2022

As a part of regular maintenance to improve the performance of Collaborate Ultra, Blackboard Client Support will delete Collaborate Ultra recordings that were created before July 31st 2021. Recordings that faculty created after this date will remain on the Collaborate Ultra server until further notice.

Faculty have until January 31st, 2022 to move any Collaborate Ultra recordings that are eligible for deletion to the YuJa Video Platform to preserve them for future use. See the Collaborate Ultra Recording Best Practices Guide and the following videos to learn how to download a Collaborate Ultra recording and upload it to YuJa.

Online Learning Consortium Workshop – How to Increase Regular and Substantive Interaction

The Department of Education requires the delivery of online courses to incorporate regular, substantive instructor interaction with students through technology. We strongly encourage faculty who want to learn more about tools and strategies to support regular substantive interaction to attend the Online Learning Consortium’s How to Increase Regular and Substantive Interaction webinar on November 10th at 11 AM CST.  Register online; a recording of the session will be provided to registrants.

Student Online Blackboard Orientation Schedule

Students whose courses will be delivered in an online format this semester are advised to attend a Student Blackboard Orientation Webinar through Collaborate Ultra. Sessions will be offered throughout August and additional sessions will be planned for the future.
